What are the causes of hair loss?

There are many factors that cause hair loss.  Hair loss may be due to stress, genetics, diet, hormones, chemical used on the hair, certain types of medicine and environmental factors.  One of the most common reasons for hair loss in women is stress.  Hair loss in women has not been well studied.  As for men, studies show 90% of male hair loss is due to genetics.  Men as early as their 20s may notice receding hairline, thinning hair and baldness.  These types of pattern hair loss may be due to a condition called androgenic alopecia, hair loss caused by elevated DHT.

What is DHT?

DHT (dihydrotestosterone) is a hormone that is a result of the enzyme 5 alpha reductase conversion of testosterone to DHT.  Studies have shown that men who have early age receding hair, thinning hair or male pattern hair loss has high levels of DHT in their scalp.  Men with pattern hair loss have increased levels of DHT in the scalp. DHT plays a part in decreasing the growth phase of hair.  As a result of high levels of DHT, the hairs become weak, easily breakable, lighter in color, and tend to fall out at a much faster rate than normal. There are many studies that show that inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase is the key to preventing hair loss and male pattern balding.  One of the active ingredients, Saw Palmetto found in our Hair Renewal Serum and Herbal Supplement, target DHT to help prevent hair loss and help promote hair growth.  All of the other active ingredients work with Saw Palmetto to help nourish and stimulate hair and scalp.

How long does it take to work?

The average growth rate of hair follicles on the scalp is .04 cm per day.  However, hair growth varies with each individual.  Some people report new hair growth in three weeks, some 1-2 months, and some people may take six months or longer to see significant results.  The results depend on the individual and other factors other than genetics, such as stress, hair care products, environmental factors, etc.

What is the difference between the Hair Renewal Serum, Shampoo, and Supplement?

The herbal supplement is taken orally and is made of natural DHT blockers and natural herbs to help stimulate new hair growth and to prevent further hair loss.  The serum is a proprietary blend of herbs and oils that helps stimulate hair growth from its source—the scalp.  Used daily, it targets the area that directly needs help.  The shampoo is completely free of chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate and cocamide hydantoin which has been suggested to be related to hair loss.  It also contains herbs and nutrients to support the hair renewal serum.  The products are great on its own.  However, the products were formulated to work together to target all areas of possible hair loss.

Will BellaVive Hair Renewal work for me?

Majority of clients who use our BellaVive Hair Renewal line have seen results as early as 3 weeks-2 months.  However, there are clients who found that they require more than 6 months to see significant results.  Individual results vary.

How do I know if my hair is in a growth phase?

There are 3 phases in the life cycle of a hair follicle: growth (anagen), rest (catagen) and loss (telogen). The majority of the time, the hair is in a growth phase.  If your current hair is growing longer, your hair would be in the growth phase and the Hair Renewal products may help with the continued hair growth.  If you do not see any hair growth (your hair is not growing longer), then the Hair Renewal products are supporting the existing growth.  The average growth rate of hair follicles on the scalp is .04 cm per day.

What happens if I stop taking BellaVive Hair Renewal, will my new hair fall out?

This is our most common question.  The answer depends on the individual.  Some men and women reported no hair loss after discontinued use; however, some clients have reported some hair loss after they stop using our products.  They have also reported their hair did not fall off as quickly as it did before the use of BellaVive Hair Renewal.  We also recommend when the individual receive the results they desire, that they continue using the products for another 2 months, then reuse the products on a monthly basis.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Orders paid online using credit cards or Paypal or credit card purchases by phone are shipped within 24-48 hours. Please allow 5-7 days after processing for package arrival. Check or money order payments are held for 10-14 days to allow them to clear.  As soon as the check/money order clears, we will ship the order immediately.  International orders may take 10-24 days, depending on where the package is sent.  A returned check fee will apply to all returned checks. All checks returned to the company will be charged a $25 Fee made payable by the customer to BellaVive NHC, LLC.
